Peace

This months oil is Serenity.
Here is a little tid-bit about this fabulous product:

Stress is a major contributor to illness and disease, in fact, it is estimated that more than 90% of all visits to health care professionals are related to stress. Serenity is a blend composed of individual oils with known calming properties which create a sense of well-being and relaxation. Lavender, sweet marjoram, roman chamomile, ylang ylang, sandalwood and vanilla bean create a subtle aroma ideal for aromatic diffusion or topical application. Applied to the bottom of the feet at bedtime, dōTERRA®'s Serenity is an excellent way to promote restful sleep. Added to a warm bath Serenity creates the perfect escape with its peaceful, renewing fragrance.

You can use this oil in two different ways, simply smell it (just sniff the bottle or diffuse it in the air) or place a drop or two on the back of your neck or both big toes.
10% off $36.00 or if you're an IPC or Preferred Customer, 10% off $27.00.

Marriage

In this particular entry I am going to manage to add some personal news with doTERRA news.
So, this past Saturday, I made a declaration to love and support my husband through sickness & health in front of about 30 of my closest friends and family.

There was never a point throughout the day that I let my nerves get the best of me. I attribute that to a few things...

1. I had no doubt in my mind that this was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
2. My family was incredibly supportive, so much so it really blew me away (in a good way).
3. I had used the Aroma Touch Kit the night before and along with that, sniffed some Serenity and Lavender before I went to bed.

2010 was a great year, I was introduced to doTERRA Essential Oils and my life was forever changed.
2011, thus far, has been a fabulous year, I married my best friend and my life was for
ever changed, undoubtedly for the good.
And doTERRA is still here, working it's miracles each and every day.

A Miracle

Normally, I reserve this blog for doTERRA related posts.
But not today.
Today, the miracle is not to do with doTERRA but with my younger sister.
Last Monday, she was in ICU with acute liver failure, kidney failure, pancreatitis, gallbladder issues and so on. She even required a blood transfusion. She was transferred to a step down unit on Friday. And today, Monday, she was discharged home.
No doubt, this is a miracle. She was near death and with the hundreds and hundreds of people that prayed and laid hands on her she was healed.
No, she is not 100% but compared to last week, she has made leaps and bounds and then some. I am so proud of her and how strong she has been through all of this. She fought a hard battle and with God, prayer and endless love, she is home, she won :)
Her blood is still too thin and her other levels are abnormal but it's only a matter of time until those return to somewhat normal.
When they do so, she will have her gallbladder surgically removed sometime next week.
My wedding is in 5 days. I cried day after day, upset that my sweet baby sister (who is 25) wouldn't be there. But now they are tears of joy. She will be there, likely not feeling too great but she said she would be there, no matter what. That is called love.
And a miracle.
