I feel like a bad blogger! It's been weeks upon weeks since my last entry.

strep throat

I woke up Saturday morning with a bit of a sore throat, brushed it off, thought it was just sinuses.

As the day went on, it became increasingly difficult to swallow because of the pain.

Reluctantly, I took my parents advice and went to the minute clinic. The Doc took my temp and told me I was running a fever.

She asked if I'd ever had strep throat before, of course I have!

She did a strep test and before the timer even went off it came back positive.

I thought no way, no how, school starts tomorrow!

She gave me a strong antibiotic and some throat numbing mouthwash.

As soon as I came home I did all my oils and added in a few specific to strep throat.

I awoke to a 99.7 fever, body aches, and no energy.

I somehow managed to get through the day but I came home and used my oils again, as well as diffused them, and am feeling much more at ease.

I have more energy and the body aches are almost gone. No fever since this morning and the pain with swallowing is at a minimum.

I am ever so thankful for doTERRA.

I can already tell tomorrow is going to be a better day.

Todays meeting was nothing short of phenomenal.

Sorry to those who missed it and thank you to those who attended.

I continue to be amazed at how doTERRA is working so well for people, even dogs!

I was lucky enough to receive the Aroma Touch Technique on my back today by my wonderful future mother-in-law.

The roomed smelled heavenly.

And I've been in no pain all day.

I finally purchased an Aromatherapy diffuser. And I am so excited to diffuse some lovely lavender as I fall asleep tonight, it's a smart diffuser, where it cuts off automatically if the water gets too low so no damage is done the diffuser. And it lights up in various, calming colors.

This business is booming, the southeast is jumping all over this amazing company and wanting to learn more and learn how to take their lives back.

Tonight I attended meeting number 3 for doTERRA.

See, I'm still a baby in the company. Not really knowing how things work (the business side) but knowing full well how the oils work.

doTERRA meetings are incredible, you learn so many new things, so many things you never thought possible.

Many people joined doTERRA's team to share with others the amazing abilities of doTERRA Essential Oils.

It's as if these oils have a mind of their own and know exactly what to do for each individual person.

My sciatica was giving me a hard time tonight, the weather I'm assuming, so I grabbed some Deep Blue from my wonderful future mother in law and rolled it around the exact area of pain. Within minutes the cooling sensation kicked in and I completely forgot that I'd, a mere 4 minutes ago, was in pain. Amazing.

Tonight was very encouraging, and again, nothing short of amazing.

Last night

Last night I had the pleasure of talking to some close family friends about doTERRA. He is a man who struggles with many, many pain issues (much like myself).

They had heard that the oils had helped me, helped my pain, so I shared my doTERRA testimony with them, the husband and wife.

He had the same response as I did, with the thought process of "I'm already in so much pain, and have tried so many things, and nothing has worked, why not...."

So, he said, "honey, get the money, pay the girl."

I was so thankful they were open to it, to the thought that maybe, just maybe, this might work, that the pain might subside.

It did for me, I'm praying the same for him.

I praised the Lord last night, as I'm doing this morning.

God is good.

And I am blessed.

Scar

It's Lemongrass & Basil vs. my hideous scar from my latest knee surgery (#4).

I'm going to share the progression with my readers and those that are simply curious.

I taught my mother how to use her oils today, she is already using the skin care line and loving it.

I do believe that will be my next personal purchase, never too early to start saving my skin. yes?

She is struggling from a few health issues right now, so I sat and explained in detail what to use and how to use it (and of course what it was for). She is currently suffering from Colitis and Pneumonia. And I am using the oils to try and belittle her symptoms, as in, making them appear less, in hopes of making them disappear....period.

Though it's alot to learn, she is willing. and working hard to follow the rules of the game, the miracle.

I am so blessed. For one, to have such an incredible family, and two, for doTERRA. I'd be a fool to think otherwise.

I was on vacation last week and neglected my oils for a few days.

BIG MISTAKE.

My pain came rushing back...flooding if you will.

Once home, I gathered all my oils and did my thing, massaging them into my body via my toes, toes which had (luckily & previously) been in the sand & ocean : )

Almost immediately, relief followed.

And shortly after, I praised the Lord that doTERRA Essential Oils, once again, saved me.

The power of 'Past Tense', pictured here:This stuff is amazing. Besides chronic pain, I get headaches like there's no tomorrow. 2 rolls across the back of my neck, a little rub, and minutes later (yes, minutes), my headache has cooled off and I can actually look at light and read without squinting.
